Welcome Message

Welcome to the official website of the Dominica High Commission in London. As a department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the High Commission is mandated to conduct official Government of Dominica business with the United Kingdom, European countries, Africa, Asia, and the Far East. The High Commission is focused on maintaining, and strengthening these international relationships, and increasing the profile of Dominica within the international community.

The High Commission is committed to its obligation to encourage and facilitate trade and investment in Dominica and to promote Dominica as the Nature Island paradise destination for eco-tourism and leisure travel. We also encourage Dominican nationals to continue to be frontline ambassadors for Dominica and to take their place as partners in Dominica’s national development agenda.

Another important aspect of the work of the High Commission is the cultivation of a meaningful relationship and partnership with the Dominica Community in the United Kingdom. The Mission aims to build connectivity between the Diaspora and Dominica by engaging, informing, and enabling a meaningful network within the Dominican community and the Dominican Associations.

Work it Out for Dominica fundraiser

On 9th January Acacia George and Janine George donated £1,627.77 to the Dominica Relief Fund at the Dominica High Commission. On behalf of the Government and people of Dominica we say thank you to those who participated and made donations.

WORK IT OUT ...for Dominica - a charity fitness fundraiser event was created by sisters Janine George and Acacia George from London, UK due to the unfortunate natural disaster caused by Hurricane Maria, which hit Dominica and a number of surrounding countries in September 2017.

The sisters successfully exceeded their fundraising target and generously donated 100% of the funds to the Dominica High Commission which totalled the amount of £1,627.77.

Held at Europe's largest health club Third Space, the charity event was led by Personal Trainer Janine George and co-hosted by hair enthusiast Neecie Gold of Natural Hair Daily, with musical vibes from award winning BBC 1Xtra DJ Melody Kane for a powerful morning of Metaburn express and fitness challenges that tested attendees physically and mentally in a fun and exciting way and was suitable for all fitness levels!
