Celebrated Dominican, Darrel Toulon, organises fund raising event for Dominica in Austria

The Dominica High Commission recognises the efforts of Darrel Toulon in organising a fundraising event in Graz, Austria on 12th December 2017.

On behalf of the Government and people of Dominica, the High Commission thanks Mr Toulon and all involved in this initiative for their valuable contribution to relief effort.  

The Benefit Gala Darrel Toulon & Friends raised €31,067.73  which will be donated to the Blood Bank of Princess Margaret Hospital in Dominica.

Dominican-born Darrel Toulon brought together a group of over 40 international musicians, singers and dancers to perform under his artistic direction on Tuesday 12th December 2017 at the Orpheum in the Austrian city of Graz, where Toulon has held the position of Ballet Director at the Opera House from 2001-2015.

The artistes and organisers all contributed their performances and services gratis.

The event under the honorary patronage of Dr. Bettina Vollath, Parliamentary President of Sytria, was endorsed by the Dominica High Commission in London.
